DSM Injector Install

This is a quick guide on how to install DSM injectors into a 92-95 Honda Civic. First off you need the injectors, they come from a turbo talon/laser/eclipse. Any year will work, the most commom are the BLUE TOP first generation and the BLACK TOP second generation injectors. If you want, this is not optional but get the lower injector seals that sit in your manifold. They can be had from NAPA and are a pretty penny to purchase all four. If you are good with a dremel or just don't care you can get away without them. All you do is take the seal out of the manifold, and dremel it out so the DSM injector fits into it with some resistance.

The next thing you are going to need is a HONDA injector resistor box. The resistor box will have 5 wires coming from it. 4 of the wires will be the same color and one wire will be the lonely single color.

The actual Injector harness clip (the clip that snaps on the injector) has two wires on it. One wire will be the same color as the other 3 clips and this is the wire you will want to cut. The other wire on each of the injector clips are different colors and don't need to be touched.

Now all you need to do is cut the wire that is common with all the injectors (yellow/black) wire on 92-95 civic, and most other hondas for that matter. Take all four of the ends that are on the harness side (TORWARD THE FIREWALL) when you cut the wires in half. RUN ALL 4 WIRES into the single wire coming out of the resistor box (the lonley colored wire) meaning there is only one of that color at the box.

Now you should have 4 wires left, all four are on the connector side (the side closer to the injector) that you cut previously and used the other side to run into the lonely wire of the box.  Now you can take any of the four wires left that are coming out of the resistor box and slice them together with any 4 of the wires you have left over going to the injector. Easy as Pie.

Now Before you plug the clips back onto the injector you will have to cut a key out of the injector plug, just take a razor blade and cut it out so the clip will slide onto the injector plug. The little key you cut out is on the injector.
